This weekend I prepared jam from apples picked from the garden of my aunt and uncle.
Ingredients:
4-5 kg peeled, cored, and chopped apples
100 ml water
Juice of two lemons
1,5-2 kg jam sugar
1-1 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
100 g muscovado sugar
100 g pine kernels
Simmer in a very large pot apples, water, lemon juice, cinnamon power, jam sugar and muscovado sugar for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then stir in the pine kernels and boil for few minutes.
Place the jam in glass jars or freezer boxes, depending on how you want to store the jam.
