Early in the morning, when the world is yawning

Warm home-made Nutella on a slice of bread beats a cup of coffee for starting off the day!

Recipe: roast walnuts, some crushed and some whole (approx. 100g). Melt a chocolate bar (200g, 70% cocoa content) over a bain-marie until it is smooth, shiny and glossy. Then simply mix in the roasted nuts, and your home-made Nutella is ready. So easy, but a delicious when eaten warm with fresh bread or croissant.

Bain marine is a gentle method to melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water.  The idea is that the bowl sits above the water without touching it, so the temperature should not go above 65 degrees Celsius.
