Emil Ahlin's cook book was my first ever cook book. It has many great dishes, but this is the best. I doubled the batter.
Ingredients:
2 egg
250 g butter
3 dl caster sugar
3 dl wheat flour
4 apples
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons powdered sugar

Optional: Mixed nuts on top of pie
Method:
- Set the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
- Melt the butter and mix it in a bowl with sugar, flour and eggs. Stir for a few minutes.
- Pour the batter into a pie pan, and place on top the peeled apples that have been cut into wedges.
- Sprinkle over cinnamon and sugar. You can also sprinkle over also mixed nuts.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream or custard.
